Workshops are engaging and educational activities that span a wide variety of topics including: Taiwanese language, gender dialogue, basketball, baking, yoga, board games, Taiwanese history, college admissions, and bullying. These activities allow the campers the opportunity to bond with fellow campers and participate in fun and diverse programming.
BIG SIB LITTLE SIB PROGRAM
The program was established in 1988 where every Junior and Junior High camper is paired with a camper from the Youth program. The mentorship system fosters a family atmosphere during the week. Many campers who were once Lil Sibs have now grown up to be Big Sibs and have even taken leadership positions at TAF today.
Night Market captures the spirit of a night market in Taiwan and promises to be a fun evening for the entire family. Campers and their parents can play carnival games, taste a variety of Taiwanese snacks, and have a great time with their new TAF friends.
TAF Night is the culmination of the conference week, a chance for campers to show family members all they have accomplished throughout the week. The night features performances by campers including: dance performances, cultural performances, choir, etc. Past acts have included magic shows, kung-fu, piano, guitar, Chinese yo-yo, and the popular slideshow featuring images and videos from the week.
