TAF 2008 Speakers

Vivian Hsu


Vivian Hsu was born in Durham, NC and grew up in northern MA, where her family currently resides. She came to central NJ to attend graduate school at Rutgers University and has a doctoral degree in Psychology/Behavioral Neuroscience. She currently works as the Research Associate for the Rutgers Early Learning Project and her main field of study involves infant memory research. She is currently a member of the Chinese Christian Church in Somerset and has worked with the children, young adult, and women's ministries for about 5 years. She has also served as youth counselor and facilitator at church retreats and mission trips. Vivian’s interests include enjoying the great outdoors through hiking and nature walks, cooking, and singing.


Vivian will be speaking to the Youth and College programs.

Roger Lin

Roger Lin was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, IL. His parents came from Taiwan for their graduate studies in the late 1970's. He currently resides in Milwaukee, WI. He received a Master of Divinity from Trinity International University and is currently studying towards a Master of Theology in Counseling. He is on staff as a pastor at Life Creek Church in Oak Creek, WI. Serving as the Youth Group Pastor, he oversees the programs for Middle and High School students in the greater Milwaukee area. What he enjoys most about his job is mentoring, building cohesion in groups and leadership training. In his free time, Roger relaxes by swimming, basketball, and following sports.


Roger will be speaking to the Junior High program and leading workshops for the Youth program.
