I enjoy working on home improvement projects despite a relatively low success rate. I completed beginner, intermediate, and advanced wood-shop in junior high at which time I apparently developed overconfidence in home improvement.
Why you continue to be involved with the TAF:
I have had the great privilege to grow with TAF as a camper, staff member, and now board member. Accordingly, my continued involvement with TAF provides me with the opportunity to give back to the TA community and to serve the future generations of Taiwanese Americans.

Why you continue to be involved with the TAF:
My first year at TAF was 1987 – the summer before I started high school. I never realized how much of an influence TAF had on my personality, my interests, my friends and really my overall life. Now, as an adult and a mother, I realize how powerful the TAF experience is and how valuable it is. My son went to TAF the first time in 2011, and I see the TAF spirit shine brighter than ever – in him and in other campers. I continue to stay involved to ensure that the TAF experience endures for future TAF campers and to remain connected and thankful to the place that helped shape the person that I am today.
